Hope Capital enhances Dual+ range; Ultimate Finance cuts development exit rates – round-up
Hope Capital has improved its Dual+ range by increasing the dual legal representation threshold from £500,000 to £1m and introducing instant valuations at the enquiry stage.
The threshold for instant valuations has also been increased from £500,000 to £1m.
The lender said the changes would help brokers complete residential bridging cases faster and meet deadlines by streamlining the most time-critical stages of the process.
The increased dual representation threshold has been applied to cases across England, Wales and Scotland.
Hope Capital has also reduced pricing across the range, starting from 0.82% at 75% loan to value (LTV), which it said reflected pricing efficiencies enabled through its funding structure.
Kim Parker, director of lending operations and commercial strategy at Hope Capital Property Finance, said: “Speed and certainty continue to be two of the biggest priorities for brokers, particularly when dealing with time-sensitive residential bridging cases. By increasing our dual representation threshold to £1m and bringing instant valuations into the enquiry stage, we’re removing two of the biggest causes of delay and giving brokers greater confidence that cases can complete within challenging timescales.

Liam Cavanagh, head of bridging finance at Ultimate Finance, said: “On completed or schemes nearing completion, time and certainty matter. Our development exit rate reduction is about helping developers and investors protect margin, release capital and move on to the next project sooner.
