CMP’s most recent analysis of women reshaping Canadian mortgage finance found a deepening pipeline of women entering front-line broker roles even as senior positions in financial services nationally remain disproportionately male.
Context from the Canadian Chamber of Commerce underscores why dedicated recognition programmes continue to matter: women in financial and business services earn approximately 85 cents for every dollar earned by men and hold around 30% of senior management positions nationwide.
The 2025 Women of Influence cohort saw more than half of awardees hold senior management or executive roles, with a third identified as principal brokers, broker-owners, or front-line professionals.
