Freehand lands $75M for AI agents
Freehand’s AI agents manage supply-chain spend for Fortune 500 enterprises. The round was co-led by Battery Ventures and NewRoad Capital Partners, with participation from former U.S. Commerce Secretary Penny Pritzker’s venture capital PSP Growth, Nexus Venture Partners and others.
Freehand recently emerged from stealth with global deployments at Meta, Unilever, Johnson & Johnson, Pfizer, Dunkin’ and Cardinal Health.
ZuriQ raises $25.5M for trapped-ion quantum processors
The Swiss quantum computing company was spun out of ETH Zürich. The round was led by Quantonation, with participation from Forward.one, Extantia, Firgun Ventures, and all previous round investors.
ZuriQ now seeks to scale the number of ions on a chip to enable powerful, commercially useful machines.
LemonEdge secures $21M for private market fund accounting platform
LemonEdge is a modern fund accounting platform built for private markets. Blackstone Innovations Investments led the round and was joined by BNY (NYSE: BNY), with participation from long-time investor Sidekick Partners.
InvestFI confirms $20M for credit union-focused digital investing platform
The round was led by Vibe Credit Union, with participation from BankTech Ventures, Idaho Central Credit Union, Navari, United Financial Credit Union, Coastal Credit Union, Mid Minnesota Credit Union, Truity Credit Union, and Southpoint Credit Union.
InvestFI has more than 60 clients. Its platform offers fractional investing in stocks and ETFs, guided investing, IRAs, Cryptocurrency trading, and stablecoins.
Provable Markets completes Series B
Provable Markets operates the securities finance platform Aurora. The round was led by Charles Schwab (NYSE: SCHW). The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) joined as a new investor, while existing investors Dialectic Capital Management, Inkef and others also participated.
Provable Markets facilitates end- to- end securities finance workflows through a fully cloud-native offering.
E-commerce logistics firm UnitAI announces $12M round
The funds will accelerate commercial deployments of its modular, AI-powered platform for end-to-end e-commerce fulfillment and returns across North America. The round was co-led by Prologis Ventures, Dynamo Ventures, and Ground Up Ventures, with participation from eGateway Capital, Recursive Ventures, Think + Ventures, ZEP Fund, and Crosscourt.
UNIT enables retailers and logistics providers to automate D2C inventory management and returns wherever inventory lives, from traditional distribution centers to regional fulfillment hubs and back-of-store retail operations. Its standardized Physical AI platform provides predictive inventory software to store, retrieve, and manage individual items without requiring companies to redesign existing facilities.
Blockchain firm Birdai Labs receives $4M
Birdai Labs builds infrastructure to measure, verify, and improve how trades execute on high-performance blockchains. The seed round was led by Castle Island Ventures, with participation from Metalayer Ventures and The Venture Dept.
Social commerce firm Dimension attracts $1.65M
The company’s main product is Seller OS, an agentic AI operating system that replaces TikTok Shop’s native Seller Center.
The round includes participation from Science Inc., UpscaleX, OpenSky, Long Run Capital, 1864 Fund, Lawrence Hsu and creator-investor Austin Sprinz.
Wayflyer, Fortress ink $1.5B forward-flow SMB funding agreement
Fortress will purchase up to $1.5 billion of assets originated through Wayflyer. Wayflyer can now deploy up to $4.5 billion in capital to small businesses over the next two years.
Wayflyer signed a $250 million credit facility with ATLAS SP Partners in the first quarter.
