  • Davie, Fla. – ANF promoted Christine Graeff to Vice President of Project Development. In her new role, Christine will guide the early lifecycle of ANF’s projects, creating stronger alignment among operations, business development, preconstruction, planning, and scheduling. Drawing on her experience in project management, operations, finance, and business systems, she will help formalize a more strategic approach to project development—one that uses historical data, lessons learned, and cross-functional insight to better position projects for success from the start.
  • Capstone Building Corp. began construction on The Gateway, a luxury multifamily apartment development located in Orlando, Florida. JBL Development is the developer for the project, alongside architect Baker Barrios Architects. The Gateway will feature 270 luxury apartment homes. Amenities include a heated saltwater pool with private cabanas, outdoor kitchens and fire pits, indoor and outdoor co-working lounges, a resident lounge, fitness center with outdoor fitness equipment, a pickleball court, and a clubhouse featuring a restaurant and bar, market, and tenant kitchen. 
  • Stellar Communities secured LP equity from Lenox West Capital and $47 million in debt from two regional banks for the construction of Stellar Townhomes at Space Coast, a 201-unit BTR project rising on the site of a former airport in Rockledge, Fla. JLL Capital Markets arranged the equity and debt placement. The partners broke ground on the project earlier this month. The nearly 22-acre site served as an airport until operations ceased in 2015. Stellar acquired the land last year for $10.7 million. The project was valued at $72 million.
  • St. Petersburg, Fla. American Landmark Apartments acquired Tortuga Pointe, a 295-unit apartment community located in St. Petersburg, Florida. The property will be rebranded as Tortuga Bayside, further expanding American Landmark’s Florida portfolio to 22 properties while strengthening the firm’s presence across the Tampa Bay region. Built in 2010, Tortuga Bayside offers a mix of studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment homes. Community amenities include a swimming pool with cabanas, fitness center, resident lounge and clubhouse, business center, game room, landscaped courtyards, grilling area and gated entry.
