Santander pushes prices up, Vida withdraws new business and PT products – Mortgage Strategy

Santander will increase most fixed rates and selected tracker rates across its new business range.

In addition, Santander is increasing some residential fixed rates in its product transfer range.

The increases will come into effect on 29 July.

Santander confirmed there will be no changes to tracker rates in its remortgage and product transfer ranges, or BTL rates in its product transfer range.

Vida Homeloans will withdraw its new business and product transfer mortgage product range tonight.

The lender says it will relaunch a new range tomorrow morning (28 July).

This follows rate increases from Halifax, BM Solutions, TSB and Leeds Building Society, with rates going up by as much as 20 basis points.
